The Path to Trust

Do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:1,5,6 (NIV)

It’s your turn this week. I’m on a study retreat in a peaceful, quiet place. So I’m providing scriptures for you to reflect on.

  1. Cindy, I pray you are having a great time of rest and reflection. My take away, To have the tools to trust we must have His word written on our hearts. We must memorize and meditate on it.

    1. I agree completely! Many people are averse to memorizing, but it's so important to have the words at the ready. There are many techniques to store the words in our hearts - repetition, music, paraphrase.....

  2. I pray for a sign in scripture or other to choose "my way" or "another way."

    1. Isn't it remarkable how the Bible is alive and still speaks to us? I love that!
